Halloween Party at Grandpa and Grandma from the farm's house

Grandpa and Grandma took all of us on a hay rack ride.
Asha and Juno didn't know what to think of the ride, but did really well.

The boy's costumes. Jason was a ninja, Declan a Sioux fan, Justin is Iron Man, and Isaac was a Storm Trooper.

One of the games was brothers had to work together to walk like a spider. Declan and Isaac did really well coming up with a way to have 8 legs.

The grandparents also gave the boys this very ugly spider that had to be hung on my walls when we got home. I am used to it now, but I still dislike that thing. Only grandparents can get away with stuff like that because you cannot pay them back.
Thank you Grandma and Grandpa from the farm for the party. The kids are still talking about it and had a great time.

School Pictures

The photography studio gave us the option of buying a CD of the kids' pictures this year. On the CD, they put cool borders around their picture.

Isaac's 1st grade picture. I laugh every time I look at his smile. He is so funny!
Declan's 3rd grade photo. He has changed a lot since last school photo. He is growing up way too fast.

Lindig Farms

We went to Lindig Farms for the first time last year and the boys begged to go again this year. We finally made it on their last weekend to be open. We went on the hay rack ride, but it was a bit cold. They have a cool area that they take you around with the Orwell Dam view and lots of views of the river.

We had a fun day together!

Declan's new glasses

Declan needed a new perscription for his bifocals and was also having trouble seeing in football. The bifocals were a total pain for him trying to see with the line, so we came up with a plan. He got new bifocals that he is wearing in this picture. We put just the far away vision lenses in his old glasses so he can wear them for sports. He wore them at the end of football and is wearing them in hockey. They work under his helmet and he likes being able to see.

Football

Declan's Football Photo
The Red Team (3rd and 4th) grade after their last game. Declan had a good year and really seemed to enjoy the game. He even got to carry the ball for a touchdown in the second to last game. Jeff and I were more excited than he was. He didn't really care that he scored. Then he told us that it isn't really like scoring a goal in hockey. I guess he told us.

Otter Hockey Youth Hockey Homecoming Parade Float

A friend and I got a few kids together to be in a float for the Homecoming Parade. Of course, Declan and Isaac were in it also. Declan is on the far right side and Isaac is in the middle with a white hat on.
It was cold and rainy and we froze. But the kids had a blast throwing candy.

Hockey Treadmill

Declan skated on this Hockey Treadmill the months of August and September with 4 of his hockey buddies. It is a lot of work for him, but he loves it. It teaches him how to skate properly and to move his body to not waste energy. After he was done and got on the ice in October, we could see a huge difference in his skating. He is excited to be skating so much better and FASTER!
The harness you see him wearing is for protection. If he looses his footing, he is taught to fall like superman with his arms out to his sides. The harness will keep him off the moving part until they can stut it off.

They watch themselves in the mirror in front of them as they skate. This treadmill also raises up so they are technically skating uphill. They work hard!
