Sioux hockey weekend

This is our Sioux hockey player signature wall. We have every player sign our wall when they come to our suite. Top to bottom: Zach Parise (he plays for the Devils now), Jonathan Toews ( he plays for the BlackHawks now), Ryan Duncan (graduated last year), T.J. Oshie ( he plays for Blues now), and Chay Genaway (we met him this weekend, he is a Senior and team captain)
Chay is wearing the black suit and his dad in black shirt to his right.

Chay and Isaac

Chay and Declan. The kids were very nervous to meet him, but once he started talking to them and asking questions about hockey, the kids loosened up.

Art Projects

We were given a family project /home work for Declan's class. I just love getting homework, NOT! We had to Decorate Declan's turkey. We started out using the foam stickers, pom poms, and crayons. Then it escalted into hockey stuff out of my scrapbooking supplies. We found some hockey skates for the turkey and you can see the rest.
We have the words hockey, hockey sticks, and pucks. Declan brought it to school and was very proud of his hockey player.

While we were decorating our turkey, Isaad was making his own project that also turned into hockey stuff.
I love helping the kids create stuff, it is so fun!!

Big Dog

Asha is 7 months old now. Isaac and Asha
Declan and Asha

She is almost 50 pounds already. She is a super sweet and mellow dog. She has become a huge part of our family and we love her.

She is a full arm load now, too with Jeff.

Halloween Costumes 09

Declan was a Sioux fan. He had no desire to totally dress up this year, so this was his idea.
Isaac was a storm trooper from Star Wars.

ADORABLE!

Pumpkin Carving

Some friends and us totally believe that misery loves company when we carve pumpkins. We were invited with them last year to carve and we are totally conformed to their way of doing it now. We had everyone over to our house for supper and then the carving began. It is mostly the parents carving while the kids go back and forth from playing to helping carve.

Jeff helped/did Isaac's pumpkin. He chose a pattern that came with the carving tools for his.
Declan and I withhis pumpkin. He drew his own design on the pumpkin and I tried to make it look good.

Isaac's witch

All the kids and their pumpkins. We had a great time!

We told them all to peek into their pumpkin, what a cool picture!

Halloween Party at Grandpa and Grandma from the farm's house

Grandpa and Grandma took all of us on a hay rack ride.
Asha and Juno didn't know what to think of the ride, but did really well.

The boy's costumes. Jason was a ninja, Declan a Sioux fan, Justin is Iron Man, and Isaac was a Storm Trooper.

One of the games was brothers had to work together to walk like a spider. Declan and Isaac did really well coming up with a way to have 8 legs.

The grandparents also gave the boys this very ugly spider that had to be hung on my walls when we got home. I am used to it now, but I still dislike that thing. Only grandparents can get away with stuff like that because you cannot pay them back.
Thank you Grandma and Grandpa from the farm for the party. The kids are still talking about it and had a great time.
