We got 15 inches of snow from the lovely storm that blessed us when we are supposed to be in the spring season. It was also extremely windy so the snow made some impressive drifts around our house. Jeff opened the garage door to this wall of snow. Thank goodness we have a snowblower because I cannot imagine shoveling this much really wet snow.
I opened the patio door to this wall and huge piles on our patio.
This picture is hard to tell what I was taking a picture of. You can see the stop sign and then the telephone pole right past the stop sign. There is supposed to be a cross road there and after the snow plows did one of the roads on our corner, the cars were not able to keep going due to the massive pile of snow they would meet. It is like a wind tunnel on our corner because there are many apartment buildings behind our house. There was a huge drift in the road right in front of our house that took the snow plow 4 tries before he could drive through and keep going. He had to keep backing up and move a bit at a time. When he was done, the pile on the side of the road in our yard was taller than Declan.
It was an amazing pile. That is our house behind the kids.
