Sept.8th- Jeff and his dad got some test pieces cut for the floor this week. They cut the first pieces out of thin steel because the good stuff will be really heavy. We are going to have celestial shapes cut out of the steel when it is all done, too..jpg)
It will be more of a blackish color when it is all finished off and not so shiny.
Here is me laying on the floor again taking a picture of these beams. The beam wrapped in alder with the steel floor above it will look really nice. We are very excited!They also started on the back deck yesterday, but we forgot the camera again last evening. I will just have to take a photo of the finished product later today.

that is beautiful, I love the underside looking up.
So glad the whole is getting covered with the flooring. I still can't believe they painted with it like that!
