Declan and 5 other kids went to a hockey camp the month of June in Moorhead, MN. It is about 45 minutes from here. Us moms decided to let our kids do this together and we had 2 moms drive all 6 kids each time. They all dressed themselves, we just had to help tie skates. It was 4 days a week for 4 weeks for 1 1/2 hours on the ice. It worked out really well with driving and the kids became pretty good friends playing their Nintendo DSs on the trips. Here is Declan, Mason, Blake, Andrew, Blayne, and Isaac.

Here are all the kids in their hockey gear. Why is Declan wearing a white jersey in pictures, it was so they could have different teams for scrimmages. They were given the blue ones for being in the camp. Declan is 3rd from the left, see his huge smile? Declan loved this camp and was mad it was done. He learned a lot and had a lot of fun. He also got to play with a Sioux hockey player, Chris Vandevelde, one day, can't get any better than that. I am thinking we will be doing this camp next summer. I cannot think of any way of getting out of it yet, but I don't want to. He loved it!
