Pro Hockey Players

There is a big golf tournament in Grand Forks where pro hockey players and playing in. The night before the golf, the pro hockey players were supposed to be at a signing session. Well, out of the around 20 that were supposed to be there, only 8 showed up. It was better than nothing and the kids got to get T.J. Oshie's signature. He is their all time favorite hockey player from the Fighting Sioux.

We were told that we had to pay $5.00 to have anything else signed except the paper they gave us. Well, as we were by Oshie his old Sioux coach told us we could have Oshie sign the kids' Oshie shirt. Here is Isaac getting his signed. Declan was so nervous meeting the players that he would not get his shirt signed. But he has the signature on his paper.

There was someone from a newspaper there that wanted a big group picture. Isaac and I are in it and Jeff and Declan took the picture. Declan was too nervous for any of this, so Jeff stayed at his side. The players in navy blue shirts are from left to right, Pierre Lameroux, Nick Fuher (former Sioux defenseman), Aaron Walski (former Sioux goalie), Andrew Kozak (former Sioux forward), Brad Miller (former Sioux defenseman), T. J. Oshie (former Sioux superhero), Phillippe Lameroux (former Sioux great goalie), Cary Eades (Sioux Assistant Coach now). Pierre is a brother of Phillippe. It was a good night!
