Here is the very first scoop dug out. You can see the ice just starting to break up on the tiny lake down from our lot. It got really cold today with a cold front and not much rain, but they were able to dig a much today.
It starting to look more real that we are actually building this house.

We got home from watching the machinery digging the hole for the house and Declan got out his machinery. He talked me into digging a hole in this spot where nothing ever grows anyway.
