Putting on the Roof

June 3rd- They are getting the rafters on and the plywood over them. The rafters are so tall that they had to put the peak of them on after the main rafters. There is a limit how big things can be on an oversize load and our rafters were too wide. So, for a while the roof looked like a barn roof and then we saw the guys putting on the last triangles on them.
You can see how tall and steep the roof is in this picture. There is no way you could pay me enough money to be in that bucket to put on the turret roof. We watched them ride up to the top and it was high up there.

This is the inside of the turret before the flooring between the levels. The flooring for the upper level will come later.
This is the view from the road into the subdivision. It is also right next to hole #11. I have been taking many pictures as the house changes from this exact spot so we can see the difference. The garage is also framed and going up. I didn't put specific pictures of that because garages are boring.
